Quién es Lucas Castel, el youtuber argentino que entrevistó al Papa Francisco
Es uno de los doce youtubers de todo el mundo que asistieron al encuentro organizado por Scholas Occurentes
"Estaba frente a mi computadora y de repente me llega un e-mail: me decían que había sido elegido para ir a representar a mi país en el Vaticano. Me puse a gritar y a saltar como loco. Fue como gritar un gol del Mundial" dice, aún con cierta euforia, Lucas Castelnuovo, más conocido por sus casi 2 millones de seguidores como Lucas Castel, donde publica videos cómicos y otros en los que aborda temas como la timidez adolescente (y cómo superarla), al autoestima, la importancia de los resguardos en el mundo online, etcétera.
Este joven artista de 20 años fue uno de los 12 youtubers de todo el mundo invitados a reunirse con el Papa Francisco el domingo pasado, durante el VI Congreso Mundial de Scholas Occurentes en la Ciudad del Vaticano. "Las historias de cada uno de estos jóvenes, de diferentes continentes, credos, idiomas y grupos etnográficos, tienen llegada a más de 27 millones de personas a nivel global. Estas historias generan empatía porque resumen gestos solidarios, de superación, de compromiso con sus sociedades, así como formas de combatir los extremismos del mundo actual por medio del humor, la música, el entretenimiento y la educación", aclara Eugenia Denari, la gerente de marketing de Google para Argentina, Chile y Perú.
-¿Y qué pasó después del grito?
-Me tranquilicé, me senté de nuevo y me di cuenta que era verdad. Me lo había enviado la gente de Google así que los contacté, nos reunimos y me dijeron que efectivamente me habían seleccionado para representar a la Argentina y transmitir un mensaje.
-Y cuándo viste al Papa, ¿qué sentiste?
-Minutos antes de que llegara estábamos todos muy nerviosos; pero después todo cambió. Él emana una paz increíble. Es muy cariñoso. Nos habló mucho de la importancia que tenía nuestro rol en la sociedad; de lo importante que eran nuestros mensajes porque llegábamos a muchos chicos. Nos dijo que nosotros somos comunicadores, que tenemos nuestro público y debemos ayudar a construir puentes para que otros no edifiquen, allí, paredes.
-¿De qué hablaron?
-Cada youtuber presentó un tema que le preocupaba a nivel social y él fue respondiendo muy bien. En mi caso hablé del bullying. Cada uno de nosotros tenemos un contenido exclusivo que grabamos dentro de El Vaticano y los vamos a subir a Youtube. Yo lo voy a subir el viernes a mi canal. Cuando lo vean se van a enterar qué hicimos cuando nos reunimos con El Papa. Nos pidió que ayudemos a crear unión, para terminar con tanta separación. Nos agradeció por ser comunicadores de una generación de chicos y nos pidió que lo aprovechemos para poder ayudar a todo el mundo.
-¿Sentiste que te dio un trato especial por ser de Argentina?
-Trataba a todos muy bien, pero cuando leyó el cartel con mi nombre y país me preguntó de donde era. Le dije que soy de Buenos Aires y se le iluminó la mirada. Fue al único que le preguntó la ciudad y sentí que hubo una conexión especial.
-¿Cómo te cambio este encuentro?
Para empezar es una anécdota que le podré contar a mis nietos. Pero más allá de eso reforcé una idea que yo ya pensaba: me gusta hacer reír, pero creo que también es importante dejar un mensaje en cada video que subo. Me gustaría seguir haciéndolo y continuar mejorando.
