La Marcha por el Día Mundial del Veganismo tendrá lugar en el centro porteño
Cada 1 de noviembre se celebra el Día Mundial del Veganismo. La fecha se instaló en 1994, día en el que la Sociedad Vegana del Reino Unido conmemoraba el aniversario número 50 de la organización.
Desde entonces, veganos de todas partes del mundo salen a las calles con el fin de difundir el mensaje de respeto y conciencia por la vida animal. En Argentina, hoy se llevará cabo una marcha pacífica desde las 17 hs a Plaza de Mayo. Participarán organizaciones a favor de la liberación animal y militantes del movimiento vegano.
Asimismo, durante el 2 y 3 de noviembre en Suipacha 964 se desarrollará la VegFest, el evento vegano y vegetariano que debutó en el año 2002 y se convirtió en un "clásico" de manera gratuita. Su objetivo, como explican sus organizadores, es "la difusión de la filosofía y estilo de vida vegano y sus beneficios. Promover los derechos de los animales, el cuidado del ambiente, la salud y las dietas basadas en vegetales, con el respaldo de la evidencia científica."

Además, la Conferencia Nacional de Jóvenes sobre el cambio climática (COY15) brindará actividades y charlas de forma gratuita durante todo el día y también el sábado 2 de noviembre. El evento está dirigido a jóvenes de entre 16 y 35 años que deseen profundizar los conocimientos sobre Cambio Climático y buscar soluciones en equipo.
