En la casa-taller de la artista plástica, que murió en 2015, la actriz presentó un libro para honrar su trayectoria.

En una chacra en Pilar, entre árboles y caminos de tierra, se esconde un “pedacito” del corazón de Cala Zavaleta (29). Allí se encuentra el último refugio de su madre Alicia Goñi, reconocida artista plástica, quien murió en 2015 tras luchar contra el cáncer. En 2006, la artista ideó el hogar-taller para sus hijos, Juan Gris y Cala –de su matrimonio con el polista Juan Martín Zavaleta–. “Su idea era convertir este lugar en una plataforma artística en la que todos pudieran crear y reencontrarse con el arte”, cuenta entusiasmada la actriz recién llegada de Madrid, donde vive desde hace dos años. En este original espacio (de amplias dimensiones, con chapas de distintos colores y muchos detalles), Cala se anima a compartir su obra más privada: Alicia, un libro de artista. En un formato distinto, de cuatro libros, rescata las creaciones más representativas de su madre y también se anima a escribir.
–¿Cómo nació esta iniciativa?
–Cuando mamá murió empecé a ordenar la casa y ahí me puse a recopilar su obra, que me llevó casi cinco años. Esos procesos de investigación y búsqueda fueron para mí como un largo duelo y hoy este libro me acompaña como parte de esa sanación. Escribir fue un acto de desnudez absoluta y de mucha intimidad. Si bien soy actriz y está sobreentendida la exposición, creo que esto tiene que ver con un estado de vulnerabilidad extrema y de mucha fragilidad que con el tiempo transformé en fortaleza.
–¿Cuál creés que fue su legado?
–Sin dudas, heredé su costado artístico, algo que mi vieja me alentó siempre. Con ella todo fue puro incentivo, aprobación, risa, y celebración. Agradezco que recibí lo mejor de los dos mundos de mis padres: papá era polista y encontré en su universo, el amor por el campo, la naturaleza, lo salvaje de andar a caballo a pelo, caminar descalza, jugar con las gallinas. Tuve una infancia mágica y en absoluto contacto con el arte.
–En homenaje a tu mamá también organizaste una exposición retrospectiva y un taller de arte…
–Le puse mi alma. Recién vos me preguntabas cuál fue su herencia. Me dejó su fortaleza y un constante mensaje de animarme a jugar; a darme la oportunidad de hacer lo que me guste. Mientras estuvo enferma pintó cuarenta y cinco obritas que luego pidió que se las regaláramos a sus amigos. Sus actos fueron un ejemplo… Aprendí que podés morir enojado o agradeciendo la vida que tuviste y así fue la partida de mamá, en modo de gratitud. Ella quiso que hiciéramos una fiesta tras su muerte, para celebrar la vida. Y así fue.•
