Insólito incidente en un aeropuerto de Florida: un hombre borracho y desnudo intentó burlar la seguridad
El responsable violó un puesto de control de la TSA y agredió a un oficial cuando intentó detenerlo; por el episodio enfrentó seis cargos y una fianza de miles de dólares

La Oficina del Sheriff de Broward (BSO, según sus iniciales en inglés) arrestó a un hombre en el Aeropuerto Internacional de Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood, ubicado en el estado de Florida, por caminar desnudo dentro del recinto e internar violar el control de seguridad de la Administración de Seguridad en el Transporte (TSA).
El episodio ocurrió el lunes 5 de febrero y la audiencia por la fianza fue al día siguiente. Los agentes identificaron al hombre bajo el nombre de Martin Evtimov, de 36 años, quien enfrentó seis cargos y fue ingresado a la Cárcel Principal del condado de Broward.

De acuerdo con los funcionarios de la Oficina del Sheriff del condado, el responsable estacionó su automóvil en la sección de salida del Aeropuerto FLL y caminó hacia la Terminal 1 sin ropa. El acontecimiento ocurrió alrededor de las 14, por lo que la aerolínea estaba repleta de pasajeros que presenciaron el desfile de Evtimov.
Luego, se dirigió a uno de los puestos de control de la Administración de Seguridad en el Transporte, donde intentó pasar sin la revisión previa. Los agentes del distrito aeroportuario de la BSO y los oficiales de la TSA actuaron rápido e interceptaron al individuo, quien fue puesto bajo custodia después de resistirse y presuntamente agredir a un guardia. Los oficiales lo taparon con una toalla y lo sacaron del aeropuerto.
El hombre fue trasladado al Centro Médico Broward Health para una evaluación médica. El hospital le dio el alta y fue ingresado a la Cárcel Principal de Broward, donde se enfrentó a una serie de cargos: dos cargos por agresión a un oficial de la ley, un cargo por resistencia al arresto con violencia, otro por conducta desordenada, uno por intoxicación desordenada y un último cargo por exposición indecente.
El juez asignado al caso le otorgó una fianza de US$3500, una orden para una evaluación de salud mental y otra para mantenerse lejos del alcohol y del aeropuerto. Además, está obligado a someterse a pruebas de detección de drogas al azar una vez liberado. Durante el tribunal, el hombre intentó hablar con la autoridad pero le fue negado. “No voy a permitirle que haga ninguna declaración en el expediente en este momento”, manifestó el magistrado.
El testimonio de los empleados del lugar
Una empleada del aeropuerto habló con Telemundo Miami (51), quien comentó: “Había una enfermera que intentó hablar con él, intentó que parara, incluso lo vio en el estacionamiento y le ofreció su vestido, pero el hombre no reaccionaba”. La testigo también relató que cuando las autoridades lo intentaron parar, el hombre dijo que era empleado del aeropuerto.
Jorge Rodríguez, un pasajero del recinto, manifestó: “Me pareció una falta de respeto y una vergüenza. No sé qué le pasaba a ese hombre, pero no tenía derecho a hacer eso. Había niños y familias en el aeropuerto. Fue una escena muy desagradable”.
Por su parte, Oscar Lema, empleado en el Aeropuerto FLL hace 26 años, expuso la rareza del acontecimiento. “Nunca se había visto algo así, pero sucede. Qué cosas no suceden aquí”, expresó.
