MasterChef Celebrity: la noche en que los tres jurados se convirtieron en participantes
Como se dijo más de una vez, en pos de mantener la atención de la audiencia y los buenos números de rating, MasterChef Celebrity se esfuerza para rizar el rizo cada vez más. Todo vale en un certamen donde lo menos interesante es la cocina.
Por esa permanente búsqueda de sorpresa fue que en la emisión del miércoles, Damián Betular, Donato de Santis y Germán Martitegui pasaron de jurados a participantes. Con fingida sorpresa, el trío se encontró de buenas a primeras con el delantal blanco, y tres cajas misteriosas frente a sus estaciones de trabajo. Parados frente a ellos, y saboreando la venganza, Leti Siciliani, Rocío Marengo y Belu Lucius dispuestas a oficiar de jurados.
"Chicos, disfruten, pero hoy las reglas las ponemos nosotros", los recibió Rocío entre las carcajadas de sus compañeras. Leti Siciliani decidió convertirse en Martitegui: "No vamos a admitir errores".
Los especialistas devenidos en participantes, enseguida captaron la onda y les siguieron el juego. De los tres, quien más se divirtió (y divirtió) fue Germán, que incluso se dio el lujo de tomar algunas muletillas muy escuchadas durante estos meses: "Estoy un poco nervioso pero vengo con ganas, vengo a aprender. Voy a ponerle mucho amor y mucha alegría. Igual es muy poco tiempo el que nos dieron, estoy muy mal, parece que quisieran que uno se fuera. Todo el tiempo presión, presión, presión".
Hasta se dieron el lujo de generar una pica entre ellos, con Damián (experto en pastelería) pidiendo algo dulce "para ganarles más fácil", con Martitegui asintiendo para poder "desenmascararlo".
Durante la breve competencia, en la que no faltaron nervios e insultos, siguió la pica entre los dos chefs con una anécdota de Damián que dejó en evidencia a su colega: "Hace quince años, cuando Martitegui estaba por abrir un restaurante, fui a una entrevista y no me tomó. Lo peor es que no se acuerda, pero hoy le quiero demostrar lo que se perdió".
Lógicamente, los tres platos estuvieron impecables, pero por mínima diferencia Damián Betular se llevó el punto de la noche. Y aunque el desafío duró apenas quince minutos, alcanzó para comprobar varias cosas. Primero, que por algo De Santis, Martitegui y Betular están donde están, la destreza y la presentación de cada uno de sus platos fue un placer a la vista, y aparentemente, también al gusto. Segundo, que menos mal que se dedicaron a la cocina y no a la actuación, porque por más ganas que le pusieron a sus personajes confundidos y abatatados por la consigna, lo que se vio fue muy poco creíble. Y tercero que el formato del programa, afortunadamente, da para todo.
