¿Qué veo? Investigaciones forenses, concursantes tramposos y Hillary Clinton
Hillary. Admirada y odiada casi en la misma medida la exprimera dama, senadora, secretaria de Estado del gobierno de Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton sigue siendo un misterio para muchos de los norteamericanos que la aborrecen y también para aquellos que la aprecian. Ese enigma en el corazón de la vida pública del país es el que intenta revelar la miniserie documental dirigida por Nanette Burstein. En el camino de intentar desentrañar la verdadera naturaleza detrás de la experta política, el ciclo se topa con otras cuestiones que superan a su figura. Temas como el lugar de las mujeres en los espacios de poder y el modo en que sus ambiciones son juzgadas con varas mucho más altas y estrictas que las que miden a sus colegas masculinos aparecen desde el comienzo. Al trazar el perfil de Clinton desde su infancia hasta la campaña presidencial de 2016, Burstein termina explorando la desigualdad entre los géneros y todo el camino que queda para cambiarla. Post Mortem. Con un elenco destacado que encabezan Julieta Zylberberg, Esteban Pérez y Alejandro Awada esta serie creada por Diego Palacios junto a la productora Storylab, Cablevisión Flow y TECtv (canal del Ministerio de Ciencia, Tecnología e Innovación Productiva) se inspira en casos policiales de la vida real para desarrollar un trama de suspenso que pone especial cuidado en los aspectos científicos de la investigación. Zylberberg interpreta a Florencia, una periodista especializada en temas de tecnología que es convocada por su jefe (Awada), para conformar un equipo con Guillermo, un cronista de la sección Espectáculos algo cansado de la profesión. Juntos serán los encargados de un nuevo proyecto del sitio de noticias en el que trabajan. Se trata de investigar y ficcionalizar crímenes con la ayuda de expertos forenses como el que interpreta Diego Velázquez. Más allá de los elementos del relato de ficción, que incluye una vuelta de tuerca para la pareja de periodistas y sus motivaciones, la serie también cuenta con la participación de verdaderos expertos en la investigación forense que le aportan novedad a la propuesta. Quiz. Para los que vieron las dos temporadas de Succession y deseaban que el irritante Tom Wambsgans, esposo de Shiv Roy (Sarah Snook) tuviera más escenas, este es el programa que estaban esperando. Y también para quienes no soportaban ver la brillante interpretación que hace Matthew Macfayden del adulador profesional de la serie de HBO. Es que la ficción dirigida por Stephen Frears, basada en la historia real del escándalo que se generó en Gran Bretaña cuando un concursante de programa ¿Quién quiere ser millonario? –interpretado a la perfección por Macfayden– fue acusado de hacer trampa, es un relato televisivo fascinante. Entre el humor y el drama, Quiz explora no solo la obsesión por ganar y destacarse en algo por parte de un grupo de personas de vidas sin demasiado vuelo, sino que también pone el acento del otro lado: en el aparentemente glamoroso mundo de la producción televisiva, donde el afán por triunfar puede llevar a asumir demasiados riesgos. Divertida e inteligente, la miniserie cuenta además con un elenco excepcional en el que se destacan Michael Sheen como el cínico conductor del ciclo y Sian Clifford (Fleabag) como la calculadora esposa del participante.
