Kristen Wiig se casa con el actor Avi Rothman
La actriz de Hollywood Kristen Wiig, conocida por su reciente participación en Saturday Night Live, se casa con su novio, el actor y director Avi Rothman, después de más de tres años juntos.
Según le informó a la revista People una fuente cercana a la pareja, los actores se comprometieron a principios de este año luego de una escapada romántica a Kauai, una paradisíaca isla de Hawai.
Los rumores de posibles campanas de boda surgieron en mayo cuando Wiig, de 45 años, fue vista usando un anillo de diamantes en su dedo angular en la premiere del film Booksmart (La noche de los nerds) en Los Ángeles. Finalmente, la confirmación llegó a través de una fuente allegada a los novios: "Están realmente felices juntos, ella le dio el Sí", aseguró.
Además de actuar, el futuro marido de la actriz también escribe, produce y dirige películas, cortometrajes y series de televisión. Entre sus trabajos, se encuentra la dirección del cortometraje Bunion, que se estrenó en 2015.
Este será el segundo matrimonio para Kristen, que ya estuvo casada con el actor Hayes Hargrove, del cuál se divorció en 2009 luego de cuatro años.
Actualmente la actriz está en el foco de los paparazzi porque interpretará a la villana "Cheetah" en la secuela de La Mujer Maravilla, según anunció la directora Patty Jenkins. Hay gran expectativa por la fecha de estreno del film, que sería el 13 de diciembre de este año, pero todavía no se conocen muchos detalles de la ansiada segunda entrega.
