Al Anderson y Junior Marvin, dos emblemas del reggae global son hinchas y socios honorarios del Racing Club de Avellaneda
Es conocido el fanatismo que Bob Marley tenía por el fútbol. La semana pasada, dos de los más emblemáticos miembros de los Original Wailers, los guitarristas y cantantes Al Anderson (grabó Natty Dread) y Junior Marvin, sumaron un nuevo mojón en la relación entre la música jamaiquina y el fútbol.
Y el responsable fue el reconocido cineasta y dirigente académico Flavio Nardini: "Soy muy amigo de Juanchi, y me invitó al VIP del show que los Pericos y los Wailers dieron en el Arenabeach de Mar del Plata. Ahí me presentaron a Junior Marvin y pegamos tan buena onda que lo hice hincha de Racing. A él y a los Wailers. Al otro día, les hicimos llegar sus camisetas y cuando vuelvan a la Argentina formalizaremos la entrega del carnet honorario".
De esta manera, los Wailers se suman a la nómina de músicos que hinchan por sus colores: Carlos Gardel, Rubén Juarez, Leopoldo Federico, Jorge Navarro, Ricardo Iorio, Gustavo "Chizzo" Nápoli y Andrés Giménez (D-Mente), entre otros.
