Las Thelma & Louise argentinas claman venganza en el Chaco
Dirigidas por Gonzalo Quintana, la dupla que integran Micaela Fariña y Belén Amada estrena un melodrama musical con el viaje de dos amigas pasionales y exacerbadas
Dos mujeres relegadas, compañeras inseparables y torturadas por sus compañeros del secundario. Una reunión cumbre de reencuentro de la promoción '97 enciende la posibilidad de venganza. Son dos mujeres capaces de todo, incluso de robar un auto, viajar a Chaco y arruinar un casamiento para que aquello que no es amor, no sea nada. Es la trama de Chaco arde, nueva propuesta del trío artístico que componen Gonzalo Quintana, Micaela Fariña y Belén Amada. La dramaturgia es compartida, pero ellas actúan y él dirige. Se estrenará el viernes, a las 23, en El Método Kairós (El Salvador 4530).
El argumento indicaría que estas mujeres son algo así como las Thelma & Louise criollas. "¡Podría decirse que son como ellas! Dos mujeres protagónicas, y yendo en contra del mundo que las armó, se parece bastante a lo que fue la película. Las amigas, el abandono de sus rutinas, los de afuera -o, mejor, los del pasado-como amenaza y la complicidad entre ellas, el viaje donde en su devenir suceden cosas que hacen que cada decisión quiebre el destino", comenta Micaela Fariña.
Versátil en todas las áreas del teatro, Fariña dirigió Telemarketers, Turbia, Entrepiso, La pensión, No matarás y Ghost, entre muchas otras obras.
"Todo surgió de las ganas de trabajar juntos. Tuvimos varios encuentros de improvisación o mundos surgidos de ciertos disparadores propuestos por Gonzalo, el director. Él ama el cine de terror y nos traía imágenes para que intentáramos copiar el estado de actuación. Todos eran personajes muy perturbantes, que arrancaban de un modo donde algo trágico ya les había sucedido", cuenta Belén Amada. "Fue muy divertido descubrir nuestra historia. Ir viendo por qué estábamos ya desde el inicio tan 'corridas'. Los tres nos conocemos tanto que usamos cosas de cada uno para divertirnos y exacerbarlas", agrega su compañera.
Gonzalo Quintana viene de dirigir Los magníficos Delgado y La encantadora David, con muy buenos comentarios y ya podría decirse que tiene un estilo propio vinculado al teatro musical. "Gonzalo fue el motor de la música en la obra, siempre se aparecía con algún clásico, diciendo que lo escuchemos y estudiemos, y a nosotras, que no nos cuesta tanto lo patético, hacia allí fuimos. Lógicamente las letras de los temas propuestos eran muy melodramáticas, intensas, extremas, llenas de matices. Las mujeres que encarnamos son pasionales y textos como 'quisiera abrir lentamente mis venas' les calzan como anillo al dedo", concluye describiendo Micaela Fariña.
