El cantante regresa a la Argentina pero antes participa del soundtrack de la película Machine Gun Preacher
Un 2x1 veloz. Anuncio + Hot Track. Chris Cornell, o el líder de Soundgarden y Audioslave, vuelve solo a la argentina para presentar su show acústico el 9 de noviembre en el Gran Rex. Las entradas ya se pueden conseguir a través de Ticketek. A pesar de la terrible repercusión crítica de Scream, su último trabajo producido por Timbaland, tanto fanáticos empedernidos como detractores de su carrera solista allí estarán.
Ahora, Cornell entregó a través de su página oficial un nuevo tema, "The Keeper", track principal de la banda de sonido de la película Machine Gun Preacher, que narra la historia real de Sam Childers, un dealer que se convirtió en héroe al poner en funcionamiento la fundación Angels of East Africa, para ayudar a niños refugiados de Sudán. Por eso para bajar el track, que está co-producido por el gran Alain Johannes y por Cornell, es necesario abonar un módico estipendio a voluntad (entre 1 y 100 dólares) que será donado a aquella fundación. Mañana, de todas maneras, el tema estará disponible en iTunes y el soundtrack, el 2 de septiembre mientras que la película, que protagoniza Gerard Butler, se estrena el 23.
"The Keeper", obvio, transmite el espíritu dramático de la historia de Childers condensado en una de las voces definitorias e inconfundibles de la historia del grunge. Tomá.
