Gas: habilitan 10.000 nuevas conexiones en Mar del Plata
Algunos usuarios esperan desde hace 2 años; invierten US$42 millones
MAR DEL PLATA.– La Secretaría de Energía y Camuzzi Gas, la empresa distribuidora en la provincia de Buenos Aires, confirmaron la habilitación de unas 10.000 nuevas conexiones domiciliarias a partir de avances de obra en los gasoductos de la Costa y Tandil-Mar del Plata. Así, habrá una incorporación gradual de nuevos usuarios de las redes que abastecen a Mar del Plata y paraje Camet y la localidad de Batán. Son destinos que tenían serias dificultades con el servicio, ya que por insuficiencia en las posibilidades de abastecimiento se suspendieron nuevas habilitaciones desde 2015.
"A la fecha tenemos unos 110 o 120 edificios o complejos multifamiliares nuevos que esperaban habilitación y conexión de gas", confirmó Norberto Cánepa, expresidente del Centro de Constructores de Mar del Plata.
Esas viviendas están en su mayoría listas para ser habitadas desde hace más de dos años. Ante las demoras con el servicio de gas, en buena parte de ellas se recurrió a otras alternativas como el uso de termotanques y cocinas eléctricas y equipos de calefacción por aire acondicionado. En otros se apeló a gas envasado, con un costo mucho mayor.
La inversión fue de US$42 millones. Con la finalización de las obras en marcha habrá disponibilidad de gas natural para 84.000 nuevos domicilios, comercios e industrias.
