Dólar hoy, dólar blue hoy: a cuánto cotiza este sábado 11 de marzo
La cotización de la moneda estadounidense se mantiene como el último día hábil; cuáles fueron los movimientos en el mercado oficial y el informal y cómo se posicionaron los dólares financieros más usados por los argentinos

Este sábado 11 de marzo no hay actividad en el mercado financiero y, tanto para el dólar oficial como para el dólar blue, se toman como referencia los valores de cierre del último día hábil de la semana, que también permiten hacer el cálculo en pesos y determinar el precio de determinados bienes o servicios que están ligados a la moneda estadounidense.
Así, el dólar oficial, que habitualmente difunde el Banco Nación, cotizó el viernes a $199 para la compra y $207 para la venta. Estos índices muestran una suba de 25 centavos respecto del valor de los días previos y sirven para calcular el valor exacto de los dólares diferenciales que se usan en la economía argentina, según la actividad.
Las variaciones del dólar blue en la semana
Por su parte, el dólar blue, que se mueve en el mercado paralelo de divisas, se ubicó en $369 para la compra y $373 para la venta. Estos indicadores corroboran la tendencia descendente que tuvo el dólar informal a lo largo de la semana.
En el mes de enero, en cambio, el dólar blue se había comportado con una tendencia alcista y, en determinadas jornadas, alcanzó un récord histórico en su valor nominal, con una cotización a $378.
A cuánto cotizaron los dólares financieros más usados en el país
El valor de los dólares financieros, categoría que engloba al dólar MEP (mercado electrónico de pagos) y el dólar CCL (contado con liquidación), que involucran mecanismos bursátiles para hacerse de esta moneda a través de la venta de bonos y acciones, tuvo un movimiento ascendente.
El dólar MEP se ubicó en $380; superando los diez seis pesos respecto de su valor de la semana previa; mientras que el dólar CCL cotizó a $393; también en marcado ascenso respecto del valor de inicio de la actividad bursátil semanal.
El valor de los distintos tipos de dólar
- Dólar oficial: el cambio oficial se sitúa en $199 para la compra y $207 en su valor de venta.
- Dólar blue: el valor de compra se ubica en $369 y el de venta, en $373
- Dólar MEP: la compra a través del mercado electrónico de pagos cotiza a $380.
- CCL (contado con liquidación): el valor es de $393.
- Dólar mayorista: su valor de compra es de $200,55 y el de venta, $200,75.
- Dólar Qatar: $414.
Cuál es el “dólar cara mediana”
En los últimos tiempos comenzó a popularizarse un nuevo nombre para denominar a algunos billetes de dólar: ahora al “cabeza chica” y al “azul”, se sumó el “cara mediana”. Los tres se refieren a distintos diseños de la misma denominación, la de los de US$100.
El dólar cara mediana se emitió hasta el año 2003. En esos billetes de dólar, el papel moneda es verde y el retrato de Benjamin Franklin es mucho más grande que en los llamados “cara chica” y el marco ovalado llega hasta los márgenes del billete.
La Reserva Federal de Estados Unidos (Fed), la entidad monetaria central del país norteamericano, detalla que “toda moneda estadounidense sigue siendo de curso legal, independientemente de cuándo se haya emitido”. De esta forma, más allá de sus diseños, todos los billetes de dólar son de circulación legal.
