Ucrania dice a la otan que rusia quiere dictar el futuro orden mundial
KIEV, 29 jun (Reuters) - El presidente ucraniano, Volodímir Zelenski, dijo el miércoles a los líderes de la OTAN que su país necesita más armas y dinero para defenderse de Rusia, advirtiendo que las ambiciones de Moscú no acaban en Ucrania.
"Esta no es una guerra que libra Rusia sólo contra Ucrania. Esta es una guerra por el derecho a dictar las condiciones en Europa, por cómo será el futuro orden mundial", dijo en un discurso virtual durante una cumbre de la alianza de defensa occidental en Madrid.
"Por eso es absolutamente necesario apoyar a Ucrania, incluso ahora, con armas, finanzas y sanciones políticas contra Rusia para frenar su capacidad de pagar la guerra", señaló.
Según dijo, Ucrania necesita sistemas modernos de misiles y defensa aérea.
"Al proporcionárnoslos, puede romper por completo las tácticas de Rusia para destruir ciudades y aterrorizar a los civiles", comentó.
Moscú califica sus acciones de "operación militar especial" para desarmar a Ucrania y librarla de lo que denomina nacionalismo antirruso fomentado por Occidente. Ucrania y Occidente dicen que Rusia lanzó una guerra de agresión no provocada.
