putin ofrece apoyo a líder bielorruso ante críticas por "secuestro" de avión

MOSCÚ, 28 mayo(Reuters) - El presidente ruso, Vladimir Putin, ofreció el viernes su respaldo a su par bielorruso, Alexander Lukashenko, ante la disputa surgida con potencias de Occidente por la decisión del Gobierno de Minsk de detener a la fuerza un avión comercial para arrestar a un bloguero disidente.
Países de Occidente han acusado a Bielorrusia de "secuestro" de un avión de pasajeros, luego de que la autoridad de tráfico aéreo local informó el domingo a un piloto de Ryanair de una amenaza de bomba a bordo que resultó falsa y que derivó en el despliegue de cazas bioelorrusos para forzar el aterrizaje.
Las autoridades bielorrusas arrestaron entonces al periodista opositor Roman Protasevich y a su novia, quienes iban a bordo. Ambos están ahora en prisión.
Acusado de orquestar disturbios en Bielorrusia, Protasevich podría recibir una pena de hasta 15 años de cárcel.
Pero Putin, cercano aliado de Lukashenko, se mostró a favor del líder bielorruso y lo recibió para sostener conversaciones en la ciudad turística de Sochi, donde le manifestó que la reacción de Occidente al episodio "estuvo motivada por la emocionalidad".
"En un momento obligaron a aterrizar el avión del presidente boliviano y lo sacaron del avión y nada, silencio", dijo Putin, refiriéndose a un incidente de 2013 en el que el avión del exmandatario Evo Morales se vio obligado a aterrizar en Austria cuando Estados Unidos estaba tratando de interceptar al activista Edward Snowden.
Las conversaciones en Sochi, a orillas del Mar Negro, se organizaron antes del incidente del avión, pero se producen después de que muchas naciones europeas impusieron prohibiciones de vuelo a la aviación bielorrusa y luego de que la UE afirmase que está sopesando nuevas sanciones.
Lukashenko le dijo a Putin que le mostraría algunos documentos confidenciales sobre el incidente de Ryanair que ayudarían al líder ruso a comprender lo que realmente sucedió.
