LO ÚLTIMO: Fuerzas rusas se mueven hacia zonas separatistas
LONDRES - Parece que el ejército ruso intenta rodear a las fuerzas ucranianas que combaten en las regiones separatistas en la zona oriental del país, según dijo el Ministerio británico de Defensa en un informe de inteligencia publicado el domingo por la mañana.
Las fuerzas rusas avanzan hacia el sur desde la zona en torno a Járkiv y al norte desde Mariúpol, según indicó el Ministerio.
Los campos de batalla en el norte de Ucrania continúan “en gran parte estáticos” y los contraataques ucranianos complican los esfuerzo de Rusia por reorganizar sus fuerzas, señaló el reporte.
En un reporte anterior publicado durante la noche, el Ministerio dijo que Rusia continuaba atacando objetivos en diferentes lugares de Ucrania, incluidos muchos en zonas muy pobladas.
Rusia ha recurrido a misiles lanzados desde su propio territorio para reducir la exposición de sus aeronaves al fuego antiaéreo ucraniano, según las autoridades británicas. Sin embargo, las existencias limitadas de estas armas obligará a Rusia a “retornar a misiles menos sofisticados o a aceptar más riesgo para su aviación”.

LEÓPOLIS, Ucrania - El presidente de Ucrania, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, advierte con indignación a Moscú que está sembrando un profundo odio hacia Rusia entre su población, mientras el fuego constante de artillería y los bombardeos reducen ciudades a escombros, matan a civiles y obligan a otros a esconderse en refugios y a buscar agua y comida para sobrevivir.
“Están haciéndolo todo para que nuestra gente abandone por sí misma la lengua ruda, porque ahora la lengua rusa sólo se asociará a ustedes, a sus explosiones y asesinatos, a sus crímenes”, dice Zelenskyy el sábado por la noche en un apasionado mensaje en video.

KIEV, Ucrania - Una instalación de investigación nuclear de Járkiv vuelve a ser blanco de proyectiles rusos y los combates impiden evaluar los daños, indica la agencia ucraniana de supervisión nuclear.
El centro experimental de neutrones del Instituto de Física y Tecnología de Járkiv se vio atacado el sábado, según el Inspectorado Regulador Nuclear Estatal.
Las autoridades ucranianas han informado antes de daños por proyectiles rusos en edificios del centro, pero no se han detectado fugas de radiación. La instalación, recién construida, pretende investigar y producir radioisótopos con fines médicos e industriales. La Agencia Internacional de la Energía Atómica ha señalado que el material nuclear en el lugar siempre es subcrítica y que el inventario de material radiactivo es muy pequeño, lo que reduce los riesgos de que se libere radiación.
Járkiv lleva asediada por fuerzas rusas del el inicio de la invasión y se ha visto bajo fuego reiterado de artillería contra sus edificios residenciales e infraestructura crítica.
Las instalaciones nucleares ucranianas se han visto amenazadas por la invasión rusa.
