Granos-el trigo y el maíz bajan por la menor tensión entre rusia y ucrania

CHICAGO, EEUU, 15 feb (Reuters) - Los futuros del trigo y del maíz de la Bolsa de Chicago caían el martes, ya que el anuncio de Moscú de que algunas de sus tropas estaban retornando a sus base después de ejercicios atenuó el temor de los inversores a una invasión rusa de Ucrania que podría interrumpir los flujos de exportación desde el Mar Negro.
* La soja estadounidense cayó porque los operadores se anticipaban a la posibilidad de lluvias en los cinturones de cultivo secos de Argentina y el sur de Brasil.
* El contrato de trigo más activo en la Bolsa de Comercio de Chicago (CBOT) perdía 21,75 centavos a 7,7750 dólares por bushel a las 1624 GMT, bajo sus promedios móviles de 20, 50 y 100 días.
* La soja CBOT bajaba 8,25 centavos a 15,6175 dólares el bushel. El maíz cedía 17 centavos a 6,3875 dólares el bushel.
* Rusia dijo que algunas unidades militares regresarían a sus bases después de ejercicios cerca de Ucrania, al tiempo que indicó que el diálogo sobre seguridad con Occidente continuaría.
* "Hay indicios de que todas las partes están hablando un poco más a fondo sobre la situación", dijo Jack Scoville, analista de mercado de The Price Futures Group.
* Los operadores mantenían la cautela, porque el Parlamento ruso pidió al presidente Vladimir Putin que reconozca como independientes dos regiones escindidas del este de Ucrania.
* Mientras tanto, la soja cayó debido a que los pronósticos meteorológicos mostraron más probabilidades de lluvia para los cultivos argentinos la próxima semana, pero los operadores eran cautos sobre las perspectivas de cosecha tras las sequías en Argentina, en el vecino Paraguay y el sur de Brasil.
* "Ha habido algunos chubascos allí, pero las mejores lluvias están como a una semana de distancia", dijo Scoville.
* El agregado del Departamento de Agricultura de Estados Unidos en Brasil proyectó el lunes por la noche la producción de soja del país 2021/2022 en 134,5 millones de toneladas, significativamente más alta que la mayoría de las estimaciones privadas.
* Los temores a las pérdidas de producción en Sudamérica han hecho subir los futuros de la soja para julio y agosto , ya que los analistas prevén una posible escasez de suministros.
* "Esa es la ventana de tiempo en la que podrían quedarse sin soja en América del Sur, y no tenemos ningún poroto (de soja) para vender todavía (en Estados Unidos)", dijo Dan Smith, gerente de riesgo senior de Top Third Ag Marketing.
