Georgieva se muestra optimista de que g7 ayudará con fondos a ucrania para evitar una hiperinflación
KOENIGSWINTER, Alemania, mayo 19 (Reuters) - La directora gerente del Fondo Monetario Internacional, Kristalina Georgieva, dijo el jueves que se estaba "volviendo más optimista" de que se puede llegar a un acuerdo del G7 para proporcionar nuevos fondos presupuestarios a Ucrania y ayudar al país a evitar la hiperinflación.
Georgieva dijo al margen de una reunión de ministros de finanzas y gobernadores de bancos centrales del G7 que el tema principal para la financiación sería su oportunidad, evitando demoras que puedan empujar al país a la financiación monetaria, donde su banco central financia efectivamente al gobierno.
