EEUU transfiere a Ucrania municiones almacenadas en territorio israelí
Las autoridades de Estados Unidos han transferido en los últimos meses a Ucrania parte de la munición que tiene almacenada en territorio de Israel, según han detallado funcionarios estadounidenses e israelíes a la cadena de televisión CNN.
De acuerdo con la fuente estadounidense, Washington ha enviado a Kiev "algunos" de los 300.000 proyectiles de calibre 155 milímetros que almacenaba en territorio israelí, y ha avanzado que hay planes para terminar de transferir el resto de material.
Por su parte, el portavoz de las Fuerzas de Defensa de Israel, Richard Hecht, ha comentado que recibieron la notificación de Washington hace ya tiempo, si bien ha remarcado que la munición es estadounidense, son sus "negocios" y no tiene por qué pedir permiso para trasladarla.
Sin embargo, CNN se ha hecho eco también de una información publicada por 'The New York Times' sobre las "preocupaciones" de Israel al respecto, pues quieren marcar distancia y evitar "parecer cómplices de armar a Ucrania".
