Adames aporta jonrón y gran tiro; Cerveceros ganan a Piratas
MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin EEUU (AP) — El dominicano Willy Adames pegó un jonrón y sacó a Kevin Newman en el plato para dar término al juego en el que los Cerveceros de Milwaukee superaron a los Piratas de Pittsburgh 4-3 el viernes.
Los Piratas estaban abajo 4-2 en la pizarra en la novena y tenían a corredores en las esquinas contra el cerrador de Cerveceros, Josh Hader, cuando Daniel Vogelbach consiguió un sencillo con dos outs al jardín derecho, lo que impulsó a Diego Castillo desde tercera.
Newman trató de anotar desde primera en la jugada. Adames, el campocorto de Milwaukee, cortó el tiro del jardinero derecho Andrew McCutchen y fácilmente lo puso fuera en el plato.
Hader consiguió su 26to salvamento en 27 oportunidades, aunque ahora ha permitido una carrera en cada una de sus últimas tres apariciones.
Adames abrió la séptima encontrando un lanzamiento con cuenta de 1-1 por parte de Yerry de los Santos, para enviar la pelota a las gradas del jardín izquierdo. Fue el 17mo cuadrangular de Adames en la temporada, empatando con Rowdy Téllez como líder del equipo.
Por los Piratas el venezolano Diego Castillo de 3-1 con dos carreras anotadas y dos producidas y el dominicano Oneil Cruz de 4-0.
Por los Cerveceros el dominicano Willy Adames de 4-1 con una carrera anotada y una producida; el mexicano Luis Urias de 2-1 y el venezolano Omar Narváez de 1-0.
